By using teachyou.academy or enrolling in any T.E.A.C.H. U Academy program, you ("you," "parent," or "guardian") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or enroll. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and T.E.A.C.H. U, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us," or "T.E.A.C.H. U").

Who can use our services

Our programs serve children ages 4 to 14. Because the participants are minors, only a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old may enroll a child or create an account on the child's behalf. By enrolling, you confirm that:

If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. Our services are operated from the United States and are intended primarily for residents of the United States.

What we offer

T.E.A.C.H. U Academy offers reading instruction programs using the Foundation First Method™. As of the date of these Terms, our programs include:

Foundation First Group Program

A virtual, small-group reading program for children ages 4–14, delivered live by Teone Hasan. Includes a diagnostic assessment at the start and end of the program, weekly live sessions, weekly at-home activities, and a written progress report. Current price: $500 per child for the inaugural cohort. Pricing for future cohorts may differ.

Diagnostic + At-Home Program

A standalone 45-minute reading diagnostic plus a self-guided at-home program. Current price: $150 per child. If you later enroll in the Foundation First Group Program, $150 will be credited toward the program tuition.

We may add, modify, or discontinue programs at our discretion. Any material changes to programs you have enrolled in will be communicated to you with reasonable notice.

Enrollment and payment

To enroll, you complete the enrollment form on teachyou.academy and pay the program fee through our payment processor, Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize T.E.A.C.H. U, LLC to charge the payment method you provide for the full program fee.

All program fees are listed in U.S. dollars and are payable in U.S. dollars. We do not currently offer payment plans, financing, or third-party billing.

Stripe processes all payment information. We do not store full credit card numbers or banking details on our servers. Stripe's terms and privacy practices apply to the payment portion of your transaction; see stripe.com/legal.

Refunds and cancellations

Foundation First Group Program

If you cancel your enrollment more than 7 days before the cohort start date, you may request a full refund of the program fee by emailing teonehasan@gmail.com. If you cancel within 7 days of the start date or after the cohort has begun, the program fee is non-refundable. We will, at our discretion, consider credit toward a future cohort in cases of documented hardship or emergency.

Diagnostic + At-Home Program

Because the diagnostic is delivered as a single live session and the at-home program materials are released immediately after, the Diagnostic + At-Home Program is non-refundable once the diagnostic session has been completed or the materials have been accessed.

Diagnostic-to-Program Credit

The $150 paid for the Diagnostic + At-Home Program is creditable toward enrollment in the Foundation First Group Program for up to 180 days after the diagnostic session. The credit is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Cancellation by us

If we cancel a cohort or program before it begins (for any reason), you will receive a full refund. If we cancel after the cohort has begun, we will issue a pro-rated refund based on the portion of the program not yet delivered.

What we promise — and what we don't

We promise to deliver the program you enroll in, taught by Teone Hasan, using the Foundation First Method™. We promise to show up prepared, to give every child the attention small-group instruction allows, and to provide honest assessments of where your child is and what they need.

We do not guarantee specific reading-level outcomes for any individual child. Reading progress varies based on factors outside our control, including the child's starting point, time spent on at-home activities, consistency of attendance, and individual learning needs. The 79% to 58% improvement we describe in our marketing reflects results from Teone's classroom and is shared as evidence of method effectiveness — not as a guaranteed outcome for any individual student.

T.E.A.C.H. U Academy is a supplemental reading program. It is not a substitute for school instruction, special education services, medical evaluation, or therapeutic intervention. If your child has a diagnosed learning difference (such as dyslexia) or an Individualized Education Program (IEP), our program may complement but does not replace specialized services.

Your account and conduct

When you enroll in a program, we create a participant record for your child. You are responsible for:

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a program — without refund — if the participant's or parent's conduct is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or significantly disruptive to other participants. We will communicate concerns to you before any such action where reasonably possible.

Intellectual property

The Foundation First Method™, the T.E.A.C.H. U name and logo, the Reading Room newsletter, and all program materials — including lesson plans, diagnostic instruments, at-home activities, written guides, and assessments — are the intellectual property of T.E.A.C.H. U, LLC.

When you enroll, we grant you and your enrolled child a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the program materials for personal, non-commercial use during and after the program. You may:
